Mandy Marie Fenech
My Story
Mandy graduated as an accountant from the University of Malta and has over 14 years of experience in the area of taxation. In 2008, she joined the tax function of a leading audit firm where she assisted domestic and international clients with their income tax and VAT compliance obligations and also provided tax advisory services.In 2019, Mandy continued her career in taxation with the Office of the Commissioner for Revenue where she now holds a senior position within the Legal and Technical Function of the International and Corporate Tax Unit. She currently offers assistance to taxpayers and tax practitioners by replying to requests for clarification concerning various areas of taxation, including the Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive, share transfers, and tax consolidation and is involved in the drafting of tax legislation and guidelines.During her career, Mandy lectured in the course leading to a VAT Diploma and continues to provide a number of in-house training sessions to colleagues on a regular basis. For a number of years Mandy was a marker for the ACCA with respect to the Foundation Taxation Exam (Malta variant).

Hobbies​
Mandy enjoys trekking, swimming and travelling. She also loves to read and is particularly interested in Maltese history.
